The main reason I don't punch the dial when Rascal Flatts comes on is because i fear that if I change the station, I might hear James Otto singing the moronic "Soldiers and Jesus" or Daryl Worley singing the awful "Have You Forgotten." Ugh.
Yeah, the Flatts are pretty mediocre. But as much as the critics hate the Flatts, they are better than a lot of other stuff out there. Sure, when you listen to the Flatts you are settling for second best, but that makes a lot of sense when finding something better would involve punching the dial many many times and when there is a good chance that what you will find on the other stations is way worse.
