I'm fairly country, compared to the average American...and I'm proud of it, but I don't yelp about it. If you hate country so much (and I know there's a lot to hate), why do you keep coming to this blog? It's like an atheist hanging out at a Christian apologist website.
Because, trailer, deep down I am a bit country myself. I am also self loathing. I like country, but I hate country too. I wish i spent less time listening to Rodney Atkins songs and more time on something else. But I keep coming back to country. I probably should see a shrink! BTW to be clear -- By "country" I mean the stereotypical narrator in a Jason Aldean, Billy Currington, Trailor Choir, et cetera, song. But I know from experience that many people who live in the country are not that way at all. In a sense, the "country" that I dislike is a mindset and not a geographic location.
These "I'm More Countrier Than Thou" songs are so dumb. Being country is not something to be proud of, folks. Its something to be ashamed of.
