In honor of the long awaited release of Guns n' Roses' "Chinese Democracy" this Sunday (you read that right, Sunday), the rest of this week will have a hair metal and hard rock theme. 2 or 3 new covers a day, then a big load of covers on Friday. I know most of my viewers/readers are country fans, but I bet there are a lot of you that had a mullet, or wore a jean jacket with your favorite bands' patches on it, or had a tape case full of Britny Fox, Kix, Great White and Motley Crue. If so, enjoy this trip through day-glo memories. If not, just sit back and laugh at my self indulgence.

I had no idea REO Speedwagon was a supergroup... what with Mutt Lange (far left) playing bass and wrestling icon Bret Hart (far right) on the skins, they should have been rock royalty instead of a punch line.
