I don't know how often this has happened, but the first album cover was already parodied here! It was featured in a Christmas post in 2010, as "Please Dougie Don't Get Drunk This Christmas".
That aside, this may be one of the weakest rounds of parody covers ever posted here, joke-wise. It's all leaning on things. At least with the Barbara Mandrell parodies, the jokes were varied. -Sincerely, "Jman" Burnett
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I've reused covers before. I used to try not to repeat them, but now I've done so many that it's too hard to keep up, so I don't worry about it - hopefully the jokes are different on the repeats most times though.
This was just a silly little post meant to give a smirk. They aren't all meant to be big event gut-busting humor pieces. And not every joke (or attempt at a joke) is going to appeal to every reader. This has gotten decent traffic though, so some people seem to dig it. ~Trailer
I also thought it would’ve been funnier if you would’ve mentioned how he liked to pee on his sister… I’m not trying to knock it because I like it too but it’s still would have been funny -“Jman” Burnett
That does indeed sound like trolling. I checked out Doug's Wikipedia article, and while it does mention the fact that he's been through several wives, one of which divorced from him over accusations of "excessive drinking and infidelity", but it didn't mention whatever not-me said. It doesn't even mention him having a sister.
Besides that... boy, I've certainly made this the hottest of the day's posts. And I don't think we're allowed to mention Alan Jackson by name on here anymore, otherwise that guy'll show up and launch into his usual stuff! -the real "Jman" Burnett

I understand that. I guess I was looking at it from a "humor diversity" point of view, rather than a thematic one.

I think that's part of the joke.

For the record, that's not my work. It's some other Anonymous who's clearly committing a form of identity theft here.
DeleteAnd he did WHAT to his sister?!

🤷🏼♂️ I don’t know. Maybe it’s the Alan Jackson hater expanding their trolling to new subjects.
