Kane Brown is Adapting

1 comment:

  1. Tragically, to be successful on today's country radio, to adapt technically means to suck, although there are exceptions (Eric Church being the most notable). But, right now, it seems as if the prospect of country radio ever playing and being dominated by real country music artists is gone just like the Soviet Union, Yugoslavia, and East Germany. is And who do we have to thank for this absolute shit state that country radio has become? Look no further than Alan Jackson, the Nickelback of country music. Thanks to this soy boy, mainstream country has sunk to new lows. The genre is often considered a laughing stock, being vapid, jingoistic tailor- made for ignorant, racist, trailer-dwelling inbred rednecks and hicks. Meanwhile, traditional country sounds are being replaced by various non-country sounds like rap, R&B, EDM, and 80's hair metal. In both cases, the blame lies at the feet of Mr. Jackson himself. As for why country music has become the laughing stock that it is today, Jackson is the one who pushed it heavily, as can be seen in his (s)hit songs "It's Alright to Be a Redneck", "I Still Like Bologna", "Jim and Jack and Hank", and, of course, that stupid 9/11-exploiting dreck (emphasis on exploiting, given that he donated not a single cent made off of that stupid piece of shit to any 9/11 victims' families) where he couldn't tell the difference between Iraq and Iran. You could package Alan Jackson's entire discography as a stereotypical parody of country music, and believe me, it would sell. And, as for the non-country sounds that are infesting country radio today, thank Alan Jackson (aka Chad Kroeger)! This is the same guy who practically invented bro-country (see "Chattahoochee", his shitty version of "Pop a Top", "Where I Come From", and "Country Boy), and helped make hick hop go mainstream by having a RAPPER as his producer. Namely, rapper Polow da Don, the same rapper who produced the steaming pile of melena that is Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" and has worked with various other rappers like Chris Brown, Nelly, Gucci Mane, T.I., and Travis Scott. And, we all know that Jackson has a reputation for covering several rap songs (alongside an ABBA song), specifically:
    * Akon - Don't Matter
    * Wiz Khalifa - We Dem Boyz
    * Tyga - Hookah
    * Soulja Boy - Turn My Swag On
    * Soulja Boy - I Got that Sauce
    * Future - Mask Off
    * Flo Rida - Whistle
    * T.I. - Whatever You Like
    * Big Sean - Dance (A$$)
    * Lil Wayne - Love Me
    * Drake - Passionfruit
    * Offset - Ric Flair Drip
    * $uicideboy$ - VENOM
    * ABBA - Super Trouper
    * Fetty Wap - Jugg
    And he has the freaking nerve to call his tour "Honky Tonk Highway"? "Hip-Hop and Hair Metal Highway" would be a much more appropriate title. Because what Jackson has done is submit country music to those genres, alongside various other non-country influences. And now we have gotten to the point where pop star Bebe Rexha holds the record for the longest running number one country song, at 49 weeks and counting. The damage that this soy boy has done to country music is irreversible, to the point where it's almost incomprehensible. I said it already and I'll say it again - Alan Jackson did to country music what Bush did Iraq and Obama did to Libya.
