Slow Jammin' With Florida-Georgia Line

  1. I like that you mentioned "trailer park" because that's where this bro-country dreck belongs. Not real country music or us real country fans. And take Alan Jackson, the soy boy who invented bro-country (see "Chattahoochee", his butchering of "Pop a Top", "Where I Come From", and "Country Boy") and made us real country fans look like trailer park-dwelling ignorant rednecks and hicks (see "Where I Come From", "I Still Like Bologna", "Jim and Jack and Hank", and, of course, that stupid 9/11-exploiting bro-country centerpiece where he didn't donate any money made off of it to victims of 9/11 families and where he couldn't tell the difference between Iraq and Iran). And, besides all of that, bro-country is often (legitimately) criticized for being too influenced by other genres, including R&B, EDM, 80's hair metal, and especially hip-hop. Well, guess who started all that? None other than Alan Jackson, given his choice of producer, rapper Polow da Don. In case you don't know, this is the same guy who produced Nicki Minaj's crapstrosity "Anaconda". In addition, he has also worked with other fellow rappers like Chris Brown, Nelly, Gucci Mane, T.I., and Travis Scott. And you thought Florida Georgia Line working with pop star Bebe Rexha and Nickelback's former producer Joey Moi was bad? Polow da Don makes that look like fucking Cody Jinks in comparison! And this has ended up spilling over into Jackson's live concerts (he calls one of his tours "Keepin' It Country"? Yeah, fucking right!), where Jackson now seemingly relishes in screwing over mainstream country music even further by covering several rap songs (alongside an ABBA song), specifically:
    * Akon - Don't Matter
    * Wiz Khalifa - We Dem Boyz
    * Tyga - Hookah
    * Soulja Boy - Turn My Swag On
    * Soulja Boy - I Got that Sauce
    * Future - Mask Off
    * Flo Rida - Whistle
    * T.I. - Whatever You Like
    * Big Sean - Dance (A$$)
    * Lil Wayne - Love Me
    * Drake - Passionfruit
    * Offset - Ric Flair Drip
    * $uicideboy$ - VENOM
    * ABBA - Super Trouper
    * Fetty Wap - Jugg
    So much for "Keepin It Country", you fucking spoon. And, to Trailer, I saw that you described me on Twitter as an "18 year old Vietnamese immigrant". Just so that you know, I was born in Gatlinburg, Tennessee to PARENTS who were Vietnamese immigrants. I grew up listening to country, classic rock, and some indie pop. You know nothing about me to make stupid assumptions about me. But, hey, given how braindead Alan Jackson's fans are, Alan Jackson and his producer Polow da Don would be so proud of you. SMFH.
