I should stop...

...but I can't help myself. A scene from the CMA's.

  1. I have to wonder what all the hateful comments and animosity will do to Taylor Swift. She is the least deserving of all the ill-nature and recrimination of anyone I've ever seen, and yet she gets so much from Carrie fans and country bloggers. She didn't give herself those awards, she only sings with the voice God gave her because its something she loves to do. Seems like Country people really aren't any classier than Kanye, they turn on one of their own and stick the knife in and twist it, telling the world she didn't deserve her moment at the CMAs, but would any walk up and tell her that to her face? You seem like a fun guy, Trailer, but some of these jokes are just mean-spirited at the expense of one of the nicest people anyone could ever meet.

  2. Fair enough. Honestly, (and I think I've said some of this before), I do think she's a nice girl, a good role model, and a good songwriter. On the other hand, I'm not fond of her singing, the surrounding hype, nor the fact that she's labeled "country" -thus a little fun at her expense. If you'll look back at my previous posts about Taylor (http://www.farcethemusic.com/search/label/Taylor%20Swift) - very few of them have been aimed personally at her and I don't think I've gone too far with any of it. However, in the name of decency (and keeping FTM's material fresh), I will declare a moratorium on any mention of inadequacies of her voice ....after one more post next week (a top ten list).

  3. I totally agree with Taylor. Taylor Swift may be talented (though I do not think so) but she has nothing to do in country music.
