I saw a link to a free download of this song posted to Taste of Country's Facebook page recently. After seeing TOC endorse this, I knew their sheeple(and I don't use that term often) would actually start thinking of this as country. Sad times.
I did some Jessta James research. He's got a song called "California Dreamin" that doesnt sound very country at all. Maybe its obvious, but his previous music foray didn't work out so he's not going to try to be country.

ReplyDeleteBy this logic, would a twangy, plainspoken, "real life" acoustic song about being in a city with no rapping in it be considered "rap music"?
