Country Covid Parody Album Covers: Alan Jackson, Shania Twain

  1. The only infection that I can associate with Alan Jackson (the Nickelback of country music) is how his horrible music infected and destroyed real country music and its integrity. Despite his fans touting him as some sort of country traditionalist, his musical track record says otherwise, as it is none other than Jackson himself who is responsible for the shitty state that mainstream country music is in today, where bro-country/metro-bro acts like Luke Bryan (who currently has the number one country song with the bro-country suckfest "One Margarita"), Florida Georgia Line (whose collaboration with pop singer Bebe Rexha, "Meant to Be", currently holds the record for the longest running number one country song at 50 weeks), Sam Hunt, Kane Brown, and Dan + Shay. And not to mention, country music itself is a laughing stock, being seen as the music of ignorant, racist, trailer-dwelling rednecks. Not surprisingly, the Nickelback of country music also had a hand in creating that negative reputation for our beloved country music, as can be seen in Jackson's shitty bro-country songs like "It's Alright to Be a Redneck" (the title tells you all you need to know), "I Still Like Bologna", and especially that stupid 9/11-exploiting song where he couldn't tell the difference between Iraq and Iran.

While there are still good artists within mainstream country, including Luke Combs (as overrated as he may be, he's still pretty decent IMHO), Jon Pardi, Cody Johnson, and especially Eric Church and Chris Stapleton, the fact that hip-hop, hair metal, EDM, and Drake style R&B influenced bro-country and metro-bro has largely replaced traditional country influences (with a pop star's collaboration with a bro-country act currently holding the record for the longest run on the top of the country charts) while country music itself is viewed as a laughing stock is all but the apocalyptic aftermath of what Alan Jackson did to country music. As I said earlier, no matter how much his fans defend him, the fact remains that Alan Jackson has been and will always be a disgrace to real country music. Regardless of whether you believe in ghosts or not, Hank Williams' ghost would slap Alan Jackson like how Moe Howard slapped Larry, Curly, and Shemp in the Three Stooges. I've said it many times before and I'll say it again - Alan Jackson is the Nickelback of country music.

As for Alan Jackson's alleged cover of "We Dem Boyz" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFOtWpul3ZY ), the video was filmed over an Alan Jackson concert to make it look like Alan Jackson was doing a cover of Wiz Khalifa's "We Dem Boyz", while in reality, he was really playing "Remember When" while a Florida Georgia Line cover of the Wiz Khalifa song played on my two Sony stereos (Sony MHC-GX450 and Sony LBT-GPX77) in the background.
