  3. Wow, I never expected cowboy singer extraordinaire (and a personal acquaintance of mine) Dave Stamey to make a song list here at Farce! Dave's hit the big time! (lol) I must say we can't forget Chris Matthew's version of that song he wrote about Obama titled "Tingle In My Jeans"! (lol)

Hey, lets not forget the old western swing song "I'm A Ding Dong Daddy From Dumas". The Dumas, Texas website explains how that song came to be: "The small village was only 571 souls in the 1920’s and late in that decade, a man who was to become a moderately successful band leader and song writer, Phil Baxter, chanced upon Dumas. He spent a few weeks in Dumas getting acquainted and after he had a stake, continued his journey. Less than a year later Baxter penned the words and tune to a song which he named “I’m a Ding Dong Daddy from Dumas”. The catchy song gained national recognition when Phil Harris, band leader for the Jack Benny Radio Show recorded the song." That concludes today's history lesson!
