  1. that lyric really was as low as he could go did he seriously just compare Bro-Country to "Amazing Grace" seriously? I suppose that buttwipe really DOES think of himself as a God then!

  2. No he fucking don't think himself as God. He just found the Lord and you should be happy for him instead of judging him when you don't fucking know who he is in real life.

    1. One passing lyric about Jesus and all of a sudden he's saved? I must be a saint; I finished twice this morning before breakfast.

    2. Yeah, Brantley Gilbert just found the lord.....

And I just found the body of Jimmy Hoffa in my backyard. My God, do you have ANY IDEA of how the music industry works??? Gilbert simply looked at his checklist and said "Okay, couple of lines about God to sell a few more records to the suburban soccer mom types? Check!"

  4. This saddens me, humanity....

I gave you Waylon Jennings, and you blaspheme me by listening to Brantley Gilbert? I DIE ON A CROSS FOR YOU AND THIS IS THE FREAKING THANKS YOU GIVE ME????

    1. LOL! And not just Waylon... needs we list them all... I am baffled by young people's lack of musical curiosity. In the 90s when I was a youth Shania Twain showed up on the scene with her two version of the same album and I heard the country one and said... wait... there's gotta be somebody better who came before that paved the way for this person to sing the phrase "Man, I feel like a woman."

I've always been more curious about past trends and once you hear Waylon, Loretta, Emmylou, Rodney Crowell ect how anyone can continue to support this kind of stuff is so perplexing.
