It's a Damn Mystery!

  1. The ratings may be dropping, but pop music, alongside EDM, hair metal, hip-hop, and Drake style R&B, continues to dominate country radio - pop star Bebe Rexha holds the record for the longest running number one country song ("Meant to Be", her collaboration with bro-country group Florida Georgia Line) at 50 weeks, "country" rapper Blanco Brown holds the number one spot on the Hot Country Songs chart, and bro-country artist Kane Brown's collaboration with EDM DJ Marshmello continues to rise up the Hot Country Songs chart. Meanwhile, bro-country and metro-bro still reign supreme on the country charts. But what's missing from the conversation is that who is responsible for the mess that mainstream country has become? Well what if I told you that the "artist" responsible for ruining country music is ironically viewed as a "traditionalist" by those rightfully opposed to what he has turned country music into. I'm referring to country music destroyer Alan Jackson, AKA the Nickelback of country music. It was this so-called "traditionalist who not only invented bro-country and metro-bro and introduced those aforementioned non-country elements into the genre, but also solidified negative stereotypes about country music (that country music is for racist, ignorant, Libertarian, trailer-dwelling rednecks), especially in his (s)hit songs like "It's Alright to Be a Redneck" (pretty self-explanatory), "I Still Like Bologna" (the same bro-country trash, but at FOUR AND A HALF MINUTES LONG), "Jim and Jack and Hank" (or Achy Breaky 3, as I like to call it), and that stupid 9/11-exploiting song where he couldn't tell the difference between Iraq and Iran. And to top off the feces cake with snot frosting that is Alan Jackson's shitty "music", Jackson has also covered multiple rap songs in concert, specifically:
    * Akon - Don't Matter
    * Wiz Khalifa - We Dem Boyz ( video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFOtWpul3ZY )
    * Post Malone - Psycho
    * Boney M. - Daddy Cool
    * Soulja Boy - Turn My Swag On
    * Future - Mask Off
    * Flo Rida - Whistle
    * T.I. - Whatever You Like
    * Big Sean ft. Nicki Minaj - Dance (A$$)
    * Lil Wayne - Love Me
    * Drake - Make Me Proud
    * Offset - Ric Flair Drip
    * Waka Flocka Flame - Hard in da Paint
    * Shaquille O'Neal - (I Know I Got) Skillz
    * Fetty Wap - Jugg
    Please, avoid Jackson's "music" or any of that non-country crap (Luke Bryan, FGL, Kane Brown, Sam Hunt, Hunter Hayes, Blanco Brown, Bebe Rexha, etc.) that Jackson helped pioneer. Instead, get some REAL country into your life like Hank Williams, Sturgill Simpson, George Strait, Tyler Childers, Cody Jinks, Chris Stapleton, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, David Allan Coe, Hank Jr., Eric Church, Marty Robbins, Hank 3, and Dwight Yoakam. Thanks to Jackson, country radio truly deserves this slump in ratings. Alan Jackson has done so much damage to country music that if he were to theoretically go to Hank Williams's grave and apologize, Hank's ghost would slap him like how Moe slapped Curly in the Three Stooges.
