Untrue Facts: Tompall Glaser & Alan Jackson

  1. Of course, this is obviously false, as the blog post is labeled "Untrue Facts", meaning that the Nickelback of country music never filmed a pornographic movie before he started his career of destroying country music. But even if Alan Jackson really did have a career has a pornographic actor before he invented bro-country, as a country music fan, I'd be more aesthetically offended by Jackson's destruction of country music, from making country music a laughing stock (as in songs like "It's Alright to Be a Redneck", "I Still Like Bologna", "Jim and Jack and Hank", and especially that stupid 9/11-exploiting song where he couldn't tell the difference between Iraq and Iran) as well as inventing bro-country, metro-bro, and boyfriend country (look no further than his [s]hits "Chattahoochee", "Where I Come From", and "Country Boy"). Putting aside this satirical tidbit of information about Jackson allegedly having a pornographic movie career prior to his bro-country career, what really offends me about Jackson is how much of a disgrace to country music he is. Bro-country acts like Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Kane Brown, Sam Hunt, Cole Swindell, and Dan + Shay as well as the fact that pop singer Bebe Rexha's collaboration with bro-country duo Florida Georgia Line currently holds the record for the longest running number one country song at 50 weeks, are all the apocalyptic aftermath of what Alan Jackson did to this genre. I've said it before and I'll say it again - Alan Jackson is the Nickelback of country music.

As for Alan Jackson's alleged cover of "We Dem Boyz" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFOtWpul3ZY ), the video was filmed over an Alan Jackson concert to make it look like Alan Jackson was doing a cover of Wiz Khalifa's "We Dem Boyz", while in reality, he was really playing "Remember When" while a Florida Georgia Line cover of the Wiz Khalifa song played on my two Sony stereos (Sony MHC-GX450 and Sony LBT-GPX77) in the background.
