Florida-Georgia Line Not Celebrating Halloween

  1. Hmmm. Not sure if that is Florida Georgia Line or Alan Jackson and his rapper producer Polow da Don. You thought Florida Georgia Line working with Nickelback's former producer was bad? Well, Alan Jackson makes that look like Cody Jinks in comparison, when Jackson has a fucking rapper as his producer. The same rapper known for producing songs for many of his fellow rap stars, notably Nelly ("Lie", "Party People"), Travis Scott ("Sicko Mode"), Nicki Minaj ("Anaconda"), and Gucci Mane ("Spotlight"). Wow, so country! Alan Jackson wears his Halloween costume every day - he dresses as a "country singer" with a cowboy hat and boots, but, as they say, looks can be deceiving. His music is anything but. Unless it's Halloween, Alan Jackson needs to trade in his cowboy hat and boots in for a flat bill hat (preferably worn sideways or backwards) and a pair of basketball sneakers. At least he'd look honest. Or, to make it even more honest, he should just dress up as a trash can like the meme above.

    1. I am not familiar with that. What Alan Jackson songs are you speaking of?

    2. If you want to see Alan Jackson living up to country stereotypes and thus making the genre look funny and ignorant, look at his (s)hits "It's Alright to Be a Redneck", "Where I Come From", and "Country Boy". You're gonna think you're listening to a parody of the stereotypical country song! And it's no surprise that these laundry list songs gave rise to bro-country, which is why we have Luke Bryan, Walker Hayes, FGL, Bebe Rexha, Sam Hunt, Kane Brown, Cole Swindell, etc, poisoning country radio. Oh, let's not forget his stupid 9/11-exploiting pile of crap where he couldn't even tell the difference between Iraq and Iran! Never mind the fact that he didn't even donate any money made off of the song to the families of 9/11 victims. What a dick. And it's not just his recorded music. This so called "traditional country saviour" (my fucking ass) has helped make country rap mainstream, by, like I said, having a rapper (Polow da Don) producing his music. And, to rub salt and vinegar on the wound, he has even gone and covered multiple RAP SONGS at his concerts (along with an ABBA song), namely
      * Akon - Don't Matter
      * Wiz Khalifa - We Dem Boyz
      * Tyga - Hookah
      * Soulja Boy - Turn My Swag On
      * Future - Mask Off
      * Flo Rida - Whistle
      * T.I. - Whatever You Like
      * Big Sean - Dance (A$$)
      * Lil Wayne - Love Me
      * Drake - Passionfruit
      * Young Greatness - Moolah
      * Offset - Ric Flair Drip
      * ABBA - Super Trouper
      * Stefflon Don - Senseless
      * Fetty Wap - Jugg
      Is it any surprise, then, why Jackson chose rapper Polow da Don (the same guy who produced Nicki Minaj's shitty 2014 song "Anaconda". IKR, it doesn't get more country than that!) as his producer? Alan Jackson is basically Luke Bryan/Sam Hunt/Kane Brown with a moustache and cowboy hat. He is the perfect reason not to judge a book by its cover. Sure, he looks the part of a country singer, but his music is as country as downtown NYC. His music is anything but country, being a weird mix of non-country elements, especially hip-hop, R&B, EDM, and 80's hair metal. Alan Jackson has done irreversible damage to mainstream country music, with non-country elements like the ones I previously mentioned largely replacing traditional country sounds on country radio. And here we are, with a pop singer, Bebe Rexha, holding the record for the longest number one country song, at 48 weeks. All the apocalyptic aftermath of what Alan Jackson aka the Nickelback of country music himself did to this once-proud genre of music.

    3. He’s full of shit, Anon. Ask him to prove literally any of that stuff about rap songs.

    4. The only people who are full of shit are those who think that Alan Jackson is any sort of "traditional country savior" when he is the furthest thing from such. As for proof that of Alan Jackson's rap covers, here is a video of Alan Jackson covering Wiz Khalifa's "We Dem Boyz" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFOtWpul3ZY
