Animal House Country Reaction Gifs

Hank Jr. pre-gaming for his own concert

If those assholes say Alan Jackson created bro-country

A mainstream country songwriter trying to get song ideas

The Highwomen album comes out tomorrow

Who likes listening to iHeartradio country stations?

When a car drives by with the windows down and you accidentally hear 2 seconds of a Kane Brown song

When some dude at the party starts playing a Thomas Rhett song on his guitar

Hey, Dustin Lynch...

  1. The only assholes who need to shut up are those chuckleheads who think that Alan Jackson, the Nickelback of country music, is anything close to "traditional country". Saying that Alan Jackson invented bro-country is like saying that Neptune is a planet. Jackson not only lived up to country stereotypes and made the genre look dumb and ignorant (see "It's Alright to Be a Redneck", "I Still Bologna", "Jim and Jack and Hank", and especially that stupid 9/11-exploiting song where he couldn't tell the difference between Iraq and Iran), but more importantly, pioneered the non-country sounds such as hip-hop, hair metal, EDM, and Drake style R&B that have largely replaced traditional country sounds within mainstream country radio (although there still are some good artists within the mainstream country circuit, especially Luke Combs, Jon Pardi, Eric Church, and Chris Stapleton). And that is all but vindicated when Jackson covers multiple rap songs in concert (alongside, for some unknown reason, an ABBA song), specifically
    * Akon - Don't Matter
    * Wiz Khalifa - We Dem Boyz ( video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFOtWpul3ZY )
    * Post Malone - Psycho
    * Soulja Boy - Turn My Swag On
    * Future - Mask Off
    * Flo Rida - Whistle
    * T.I. - Whatever You Like
    * Big Sean ft. Nicki Minaj - Dance (A$$)
    * Lil Wayne - Love Me
    * Drake - Make Me Proud
    * Offset - Ric Flair Drip
    * Waka Flocka Flame - Hard in da Paint
    * Shaquille O'Neal - (I Know I Got) Skillz
    * ABBA - Super Trouper
    * Fetty Wap - Jugg
    And I could give less of a fuck about Jackson's song "Murder on Music Row", as all Jackson was doing during that song was singing about his own crime. Think of it as the country version of Gun Rack's "I Killed Darnell Simmons" from and Key and Peele's sketch "Rap Album Confessions". Bro-country acts like Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Kane Brown, and Cole Swindell, along with the fact that pop singer Bebe Rexha's collaboration with bro-country act Florida Georgia Line holds the longest running number one country song at 50 weeks while rapper Blanco Brown currently has the number one country song, with EDM DJ Marshmello's collaboration with bro-country singer Kane Brown not far behind, are all the apocalyptic aftermath of what Alan Jackson, the Nickelback of country music, did to this genre. There is no doubt about it, Alan Jackson is truly the father of bro-country. If Jackson ever met the ghost of Hank Williams, Hank Williams's ghost would slap him for what he did to destroy country music like how Moe slapped Curly in the Three Stooges.

    1. Dude, what the hell is your problem? Did Alan run over your dog or something? I've seen you on YouTube, Facebook, you name it, all over the place shitting on him for stupid reasons and spreading lies. You sure like to talk about him a lot. Hmm...

    2. You literally went on a weeks old post to get butthurt about me correctly calling out Alan Jackson's destruction of country music. Congratulations, you played yourself.

  2. Nitpicker's note: The caption on the second gif ("Tell those assholes to shut up") wasn't said like that in the movie. It was actually a question ("Will you tell those assholes to shut up?"). This is not in any way a criticism of Trailer's work, but something I just felt like pointing out.
