I didn't like this piece. The title is an exaggeration and I agree with everything Rucker actually said. Within current mainstream country music, who would you say is the closest thing to an "outlaw" country singer? Were you expecting him to call out Eric Church as a Waylon poser? He went out of his way to give credit to Jamey Johnson and deflected an inane question with a noncontroversial answer, and did fine in my opinion.
