    Considering the title of this post, I know that these memes are supposed to be tongue-in-cheek. But I feel that it would be no surprise if Alan Jackson, the man who destroyed country music, really did cover Run DMC. After all, what else can we expect from this absolute disgrace to country music, after he not only chose rapper Polow da Don to be his producer (the same guy who produced Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" and Jamie Foxx's "DJ Play a Love Song", as well as various other songs for other fellow rappers like Nelly, Gucci Mane, T.I, and Travis Scott, among others), but also covered multiple rap songs at his concerts, specifically
    * Akon - Don't Matter
    * Wiz Khalifa - We Dem Boyz ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFOtWpul3ZY )
    * Tyga - Hookah
    * Soulja Boy - Turn My Swag On
    * Soulja Boy - I Got that Sauce
    * Future - Mask Off
    * Flo Rida - Whistle
    * T.I. - Whatever You Like
    * Big Sean ft. Nicki Minaj - Dance (A$$)
    * Lil Wayne - Love Me
    * Drake - Passionfruit
    * Offset - Ric Flair Drip
    * Waka Flocka Flame - Hard in da Paint
    * Shaquille O'Neal - (I Know I Got) Skillz
    * Fetty Wap - Jugg
    And you think that the prospect of Alan Jackson covering yet another rap song is "untrue"? Complete and utter bull. And yes, the crowd has very good reason to be taken aback when Jackson is figuratively pissing and shitting all over the graves of country legends. Johnny Cash would slap Alan Jackson like how Moe slapped Curly in the Three Stooges. And speaking of Johnny Cash, even rapper Post Malone is more country than Alan Jackson, given that Post Malone has a Johnny Cash tattoo and is a fan of country music (I recall a picture of Post Malone posing with country singer Luke Combs). Given the level of destruction that Jackson has done to country music, to the point where country music is now seen as a laughing stock, traditional country influences have been replaced by various non-country sounds (especially rap, R&B, and 80's hair metal) within mainstream country, and pop star Bebe Rexha has the longest running number one country song at 50 weeks, I would say that there is nothing country about Alan Jackson. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing, but his cowboy hat and boots ain't fooling me (never judge a book by its cover). There's no room for his garbage music on my phone or my Sony GX450, RG90, and GPX77. Alan Jackson could fart into a microphone, release it as a single, and it would be his best single thus far. And that's saying a lot.
