I agree with this post except for one thing. That proto-bro-country pile of crap "Chattahoochee" by the Nickelback of country music sure as hell belongs in the "Avoid" red light section. As in, avoid at all costs if you're country fan with good taste. On the other hand, there are those idiot Alan Jackson fans (who mostly consist of stereotypical white teenage girls who spend most of their time on Instagram, Snapchat, or Tik Tok) that claim to oppose bro-country and think that they're traditional country fans yet claim that Alan Jackson (the Nickelback of country music) is some sort of traditional country artist. However, anyone with even a slight knowledge of Alan Jackson's discography can easily call bullshit on that. Not only did Alan Jackson (the Nickelback of country music) help solidify the stereotype that country music is made for racist, ignorant, trailer-dwelling rednecks and hicks (i.e., "It's Alright to Be a Redneck", "I Still Like Bologna", "Jim and Jack and Hank", and especially that 9/11-exploiting song where he couldn't tell the difference between Iraq and Iran), but it was also the Nickelback of country music who invented bro-country (as well as hick-hop, metro-bro, and boyfriend country, for that matter). Of course, the aforementioned song "Chattahoochee" is the most obvious example of this, being littered with bro-country tropes such as river banks, hot girls, beer cans, and moonlight. Other proto-bro-country (s)hits by Alan Jackson include "Country Boy" and "Where I Come From", both of which are also filled with those previously mentioned bro-country tropes along with others like trucks and tailgates, house parties, and having a girl hop in said truck. With all of that taken into consideration, Alan Jackson did to country music what the Coronavirus is doing to countries like China, Iran, Italy, Spain, and France. Bro-country/hick-hop/metro-bro/boyfriend country acts like Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Kane Brown, Sam Hunt, Hunter Hayes, and Dan + Shay, along with the fact that pop singer Bebe Rexha's collaboration with bro-country duo Florida Georgia Line holds the record for the longest running number one country song at 50 weeks, are all the apocalyptic aftermath of what Alan Jackson (the Nickelback of country music) did to this genre. If the ghost of Hank Williams could hear Alan Jackson's "music" (and the apocalyptic aftermath of what he did to country music), Hank's ghost would slap Jackson like how Moe Howard slapped Larry, Curly, and Shemp in the Three Stooges.
As for Alan Jackson's alleged cover of "We Dem Boyz" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFOtWpul3ZY ), the video was filmed over an Alan Jackson concert to make it look like Alan Jackson was doing a cover of Wiz Khalifa's "We Dem Boyz", while in reality, he was really playing "Remember When" while a Florida Georgia Line cover of the Wiz Khalifa song played on my two Sony stereos (Sony MHC-GX450 and Sony LBT-GPX77) in the background.
