Featuring killer dancers, money flying, fast cars, and even a python; this video takes viewers inside the world of these stars. Fans will be asking themselves “Don’t You Wanna”!
Strickland is no stranger to seamlessly pairing country roots with urban west coast vibes and he showcases that better than ever. A fire song and video collaboration with world-renowned hip-hop artist Juicy J, complements the R&B influenced country anthem by blending these two wildly different worlds with a fresh new sound.
“The song was good but the blend of are artistry takes you to a whole
new level of upper echelon” Strickland says. Juicy J agrees, saying he thought “the song was dope! as soon as I heard it, I added some drums to trap it up. The end result definitely brings something new to the game.”
Directed by Bronx-native Alex Acosta, the visual ride features Strickland and Juicy J enjoying “the life”. Having worked with the likes of Flo Rida and Natalie La’Rose on countless hip-hop and R&B videos, Acosta’s ingenious vision compliments Juicy J and Strickland’s collaboration.
“Don’t You Wanna” comes off of Strickland’s breakout album “California Dreamin’ ” and follows his latest videos for the tracks “California Dreamin’ ”, “Get a Grip”, “We Don’t Sleep” and “Swerve On.”
