A poop emoji equals a negative rating. A strike-thru poop emoji is a positive rating.
The current Poop Rating of the Mediabase Top 20 is (-29) overall which is a hefty 29 point drop (!!!!!) from last October (the last time we did this chart). The best song is Midland's "Drinkin' Problem." The worst is Dylan Scott's substandard bro-country-lite "My Girl." Not only is the Top 20 really pathetic, there is not a single solo female in the bunch.
Things are bad.

I'd argue that that Bros. Osborne song is pretty awesome (easily my favorite mainstream single this year), but I'm glad there's someone else who hates Dylan Scott's tune as much I do...
ReplyDeleteI gave Bros a +3. I like it.
DeleteWhy the fuck did You give Dylan Scott the worst!?
ReplyDeleteHis song is catchy and just about his wife and what she likes
You also give the top song a poop emoji and that's just bullshit
The song deserve the number 1 and it's a catchy song.
You also give Florida Georgia Line's God, Your Momma and Me 4 Pieces of Shit that means you don't believe in God and if you don't believe in God, you will be send to Hell.
Dylan's song isn't catchy but even if that's your defense, I mean, a bunch of bad diseases are catchy so...
DeleteThe top song got an anti-poop emoji. That means it's not poop.
No, four poop emojis just means he hates the song. But he can't be sent to hell - nobody can actually force him to listen to country radio for eternity.
I hate Dylan Scott and Dustin Lynch's songs the most out of this.
ReplyDeleteI actually like Keith/Carrie, Justin, Old Dominion, and RF's current songs, and Cole's is a guilty pleasure.
Keith/Carrie is decent for a pop song. I don't care for the other 4 at all.
DeleteI was just going to ask where you stood on Brett Young...turns out his dad was a high school friend of a FB friend of mine.
ReplyDeleteHe's got a nice voice. Most of his songs are pretty lackluster though.
