Number of Co-Writers to Crappiness of Song Ratio 2
Did this back in 2013. Not an exact science and honestly just cherry picking for clickbait ...many of the best songs were written by 2-3 people, but who cares when you're deriding committee written dreck?

Top 10 Biggest Country Singer/Songwriter Jerks
Some would imagine that relatively under-the-radar country singer/songwriters would not be as likely to be divas and d-bags as the ultra-hyped superstars. However, this is not to be.
Here are some of the most egregious offenders.
----------
10. Brandy Clark
Keeps "Draw 4" up sleeve when playing Uno
Tour rider requires Koolaid pickles, a Creed prayer candle, and 5 bottles of Olde English
9. Ed Hill
Thinks Farce the Music is hilarious
Actual crisis actor
8. Mac McAnally
Thinks Soulja Boy is better than 2Pac
Donates to charities promoting homelessness
7. Josh Grider
Does not tell someone if they have a booger
Hobby: Martin Shkreli fan fiction
6. Gretchen Peters
Has been kicked off multiple flights for fighting and drunkenness
Personally puts tiny scratch on each vinyl album ordered through her website
5. Will Hoge
Wears awkwardly short shorts to co-writing sessions
Default font on all emails? comic sans
4. Lori McKenna
Performs thorough and morally judgmental background check on co-writers
2 can a day Copenhagen habit
Wears big hats to church and sits in front of short people
3. Travis Meadows
Spreads nasty rumors about Whiskey Jack's hygiene
Argues with cashiers over expired coupons
Changes Alan Jackson online set lists and Wikipedia page to say AJ covers Lil Wayne, Future
2. Mandy Barnett
Writes "Nice" on page 69 of every library book she checks out
Coughs on buffets
Still wears a bluetooth earpiece
1. Kendell Marvel
Refused shot, gave 73 people flu this year
Secretly writes bro-country songs under pen name Chris DeStefano
Doesn't refill the Keurig
Claims world's largest laserdisc porn collection

FTM's Top Songs of 2015: 21-40
I'll post my Top 20 songs of 2015 tomorrow, but here are 20 more songs that moved me in 2015. The depth of talent (mostly, but not entirely outside the mainstream) is staggering in recent years, so it's always difficult to narrow songs and albums down to a ranking at the end of the year, but I felt like these all needed some recognition.
In no particular order, though my favorites are generally towards the top of the list.
Jason Isbell - 24 Frames
American Aquarium - End Over End
Courtney Patton - So This Is Life
The Lone Bellow - Diners
Faith No More - Matador
Clutch - X-Ray Visions
Sam Outlaw - Ghost Town
Houndmouth - Sedona
Kacey Musgraves - Late to the Party
Lucero - Went Looking for Warren Zevon's Los Angeles
Alan Jackson - The One You're Waiting On
Kurt Vile - Pretty Pimpin'
Red Shahan - Black Veins Pt. 1
Adele - Hello
High on Fire - The Cave
The Yawpers - 3 A.M.
Gretchen Peters - The Cure for the Pain

FTM Top 75 Albums of 2012: 51-75
First of all, 2012 was an utterly amazing year
in (mostly) non-radio music.
That being said, placing on FTM's Top 75 of 2012 meant an album was very strong and worthy of much acclaim and multiple listenings. In fact, I was upset to have to place some of these so "low."
A few rules: No live albums, no albums including a majority of previously released songs, no EPs.
Without further adieu, here's the FTM Top 75 Albums of 2012: 51-75:
52. Bonnie Raitt - Slipstream
54. Kasey Anderson and the Honkies - Let the Bloody Moon Rise
55. Kasey Chambers and Shane Nicholson - Wreck and Ruin
57. Lincoln Durham - The Shovel vs The Howling Bones
59. The Lumineers - s/t
60. Grace Potter and the Nocturnals - The Lion The Beast The Beat
63. The Shins - Port of Morrow
65. Ty Segall Band - Slaughterhouse
66. The Smashing Pumpkins - Oceania
67. Green Day - Uno
69. The White Buffalo - Once Upon a Time in the West
71. Old Crow Medicine Show - Carry Me Home
73. Bruce Springsteen - Wrecking Ball
74. Chris Robinson Brotherhood - Big Moon Ritual

Favorite Songs of 2012 So Far
Some of these haven't been released just yet, but Lucero, Delta Spirit and Shooter Jennings all come out next Tuesday. Paul Thorn's new album of cover songs, What the Hell is Goin' On?, is due for release May 8th.
These are in no particular order of preference, though my early fave is "Dance in the Darkness."
